Joel Osteen needs to read Galatians 1:8-10

It would seem Joel Osteen has once again forgot to "prep" before his recent interview on Fox News. When asked about the authenticity of Mormons being a part of the Christian faith, Joel in true "Seeker Friendly" fashion answers with a resounding YES! The apostasy that exist in the Modern Day Church is just overwhelming and is a sign of the times we are living in. Watch the clip below and see how Joel addresses the whole "golden plates" and Joseph Smith issue. It would seem Chris Wallace knows more about the Christian faith than Joel does.

Galatians 1:8-10 states: But though we, or an angel from heaven, should preach unto you any gospel other than that which we preached unto you, let him be anathema. 9 As we have said before, so say I now again, if any man preacheth unto you any gospel other than that which ye received, let him be anathema. 10 For am I now seeking the favor of men, or of God? or am I striving to please men? if I were still pleasing men, I should not be a servant of Christ.

You spend a lot of time bashing other Christians. Who are you to judge God's servants? If you have a problem with something that Joel Osteen says, why don't you write him a letter and deal with him instead of bashing him on the internet. You know a lot of scripture, why don't you read the parts of the bible that talk about dealing with other christians and see if you are in line?

Where in my post am I "Bashing" Joel Osteen? I am simply pointing out the fact that his teaching is in strict error to the gospel. I would ask what part of my statement do you consider bashing.

Do you agree with Joel's comments he made on Fox News regarding Mormonism? Secondly, would you then agree that his comments are in line with what the scriptures say about what exactly defines the gospel? Do you agree Mormonism is the Truth?

As for the issue of judging other Christians as being unbiblical, I would ask you to specifically show me where in scripture does it state this? Christians are to always be aware of false doctrines and to admonish or reject those who are preaching such. If you think I was bashing Joel then you might have a problem with Paul in the following verses: Rom 16:17-18, 1 Timothy 3:6-10, Titus 1:9-12. I would think if you had issues with what I said, then you will really take issue with what Paul says in Titus about false doctrines and false teachers.

As for me personally addressing Joel Osteen, I would ask you this. Do you not think Joel has been addressed on many occasions by Christians about his teachings? Mr Osteen has been asked on numerous occasions to stop spreading this false doctrine. But yet he continues. Therefore, according to scripture it is the responsibility of other Christians to warn people of this false doctrine.
